JOB TITLE:                           Director, Marketing – Healthcare, Wound Care
DEPARTMENT:                     Healthcare Administration
 
Compensation Profile
Base Salary: $160K - $170K
Bonus: $32.5K, $40K max. (annual payout)
Total First year compensation: $190K+
Full Medical/Dental/Vision

Relocation Package TBD
Location: must work out of corporate office (Chicago area, IL)

            
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
·      Develops and executes strategic and tactical marketing plans (including all elements of the marketing mix) to achieve annual revenue and profit objectives
·      davitaDevelop and execute strategies to capture marketing insights and commercial insights and connect with customers.
·      Collaborate with international colleagues in developing and executing plans to build strong brand awareness and brand equity.
·      Collaborate with Sales team in identifying and developing customer segmentation and targeting strategies
·       Develop and execute communication strategies for both internal and external audiences
·      Maintains customer intimacy to provide critical feedback for FOI product development with and to help guide downstream marketing activities
·      Guides the direction of the company brand in support of the business unit in coordination with and international colleagues
·      Develops and delivers presentations on strategic and operational plans, project status, and other topics of interest
·      Manages and assists in the development and execution of educational programs in coordination with clinical specialists and sales geared toward internal and external customers
·      Participates in national, regional and local sales training meetings, customer visits to gather and learn field perspective, customer presentations, and other promotional events as required
·      Works with the sales organization to provide accurate product forecasts to operations, pricing guidelines, and training events for all product lines
  • Actively leads all product related management activities including: Document Change Orders (DCO’s), materials specification coordination, product change communication, ownership of print messaging, compliance with QA/regulatory requirements, and coordination of appropriate product related education and training materials for distribution
  • Complies with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations
  • Supervises employees by planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems 
  • Follows all Company rules and regulations, including health and safety rules
  • Travel as may be required to meet business and customer expectations
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or as may be required from time to time
 
EDUCATION and CRITICAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
·      Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field is required; Master of Business Administration preferred
·      Minimum five years’ marketing management experience required
·      Experience in managing a mix of digital and traditional marketing mediums
·      Solid track record in product/business management and leadership
·      Strong analytical skills and a working knowledge of business finance, pricing and forecasting
·      Capital equipment medical device with emphasis in evidence-based medicine
·      Ability to deal effectively with all levels of external customers, including physicians, nurses, purchasing, c-suite and IDN/hospital administrators and business owners
·      Demonstrated high level of integrity and business ethics
  • Supervisory experience necessary to support Essential Functions 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
  • Experience working in an environment with global objectives
 
PHYSICAL DEMANDS  
  • Travel up to 25% of the time, including occasional international travel
