Compensation Profile: 
Base Salary: $65,000 
Car Allowance: $8,000 
Health cover $6,000 
Bonus plan: 
  •  Year 1 up to $18k - $30k for 100% of target 
  •  Year 2 up to $24k for 100% of target 
  •  Year 3 up to $30k for 100% of target 
  •  Paid end calendar quarterly 
  •  Over achievement within a quarter can be rolled forward to next quarter and settled annually

SECTION 2 – SUMMARY
The post holder is responsible for the development of new customer accounts and maintenance and growth of existing customer accounts within a defined territory. The purpose of the job is to build, grow and maximize the Company’s sales revenue and BioBag product sales order volumes.
 
 
SECTION 3 – ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Understands the Company Sales & Marketing strategy and its intent, including the identification of all implied and express tasks that relate to the post holder’s territory and activity that are contained within the strategy.
  • Day-to-day management, administration and reporting of customer and prospect account development activity as directed by the Regional Sales Manager and defined in the monthly Territory Plan.
  • Management and administration of all customer and prospect accounts within a defined Sales territory.
  • Travel to and from customer and prospect account locations within a defined Sales territory
  • Participates in weekly Sales Team Co-ordination telephone calls with the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Participates in Sales Team meetings as required.
  • Provides product support at relevant conferences as required.
  • Maintains a full and current knowledge of the company’s products and services.
  • Represents the best interests of the Company internally and externally in a professional, supportive and courteous manner.
  • Timely maintenance and administration of information databases to include:
    • Company CRM system
    • Territory Plan Activity Report
    • Timely submission of expense claim information and forms to Finance for processing and payment.
  • Other tasks from time to time as directed by the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Makes day-to-day operational decisions within a defined process.
  • Makes difficult unilateral decisions with risk.
  • Escalates issues through the appropriate chain of command.
  • Builds and maintains effective and beneficial customer relationships efficiently. Identifies sales opportunities and works through the new product sales process.

SECTION 7 – EDUCATION
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent. 

SECTION 8 – LANGUAGE SKILLS
Fluent spoken and written English. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
 
SECTION 9 – COMPUTER SKILLS
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of key Microsoft applications including Excel, Powerpoint, Word and Outlook. In addition, familiarity and use of CRM software would be advantageous.
 
SECTION 10 – MOST CHALLENGING ASPECTS OF THE JOB      
  • Securing long term commitments from Customers to buy larval therapy products from the Company
  • Building and maintaining effective and beneficial customer relationships efficiently
  • Maintaining a current, relevant efficient and effective Territory Plan
  • Management of Product Support Specialist
 
SECTION 12 – KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO DO THE JOB

Knowledge / Prior Experience:
  • 3-5 years proven sales experience as field sales representative.
  • Demonstrated a proven track record of sales target over-achievement within a defined Sales territory.
  • An understanding of what is required to provide specialist product and technical product support, information and education to customer accounts within a defined Sales territory.
  • Experience of selling to “C-Suite” level customers.
  • Experience of navigating through the new product committee review/formulary approval process.
